An unmistakable duo
Designer Ineke Hans created the Rex table to complement the Rex chair. Just like the chair, the table is highly versatile and suitable for meeting rooms, canteens, waiting areas, educational and healthcare facilities, and the home.
The chairs and tables in this series feature legs with identical angles, making it immediately clear that they belong together. The Rex table is available with three or four legs and features sustainable tabletops made from pressed recycled textiles (Really by Kvadrat) or second-life solid-core laminate.
A strong foundation
Rex stands firm thanks to its legs made from recycled aluminum. For the tabletop, we use reused solid-core laminate or boards made from recycled textiles, specifically Really by Kvadrat.
The power of pressure
Rex can be made with two types of circular tabletops, 12 or 18 millimeters thick. The 12-millimeter tabletop consists of layers of wood fibers compressed under high pressure to create a hard board. For the 18-millimeter top, old T-shirts and upholstery fabrics are compressed until they form a compact tabletop with a sturdy top and bottom layer.
The more, the merrier
Just like the chair, the Rex table is designed to look right at home in any public space: the more people who pull up a chair, the better. The tabletops feature a top and bottom layer, which prevents warping and ensures scratch resistance. The aluminum legs are attractive, sleek, and durable: the material retains its shape and, of course, does not rust.
