Stripped back to its essence, Primary Duo is the first piece from the renowned Quinze & Milan collection; a true classic.
Made from 100% recycled mattress foam, compressed into a comfortable seating element.
Finished with a PU coating, it is suitable for public spaces and available in most RAL/NCS colors.
The coating can be repaired, and at the end of its life, the sofa material can be fully recycled into a new Duo (or two Solos).
This is how we keep mattress foam in the loop and ensure nothing goes to waste.
Recycled mattresses.
In the Netherlands, over 1 million mattresses are recycled into usable raw materials every year, including the foam we use for our sofas.
Mattresses.
In the Netherlands alone, more than 1.2 million (!) are discarded every year. It is a crying shame to waste over 20 usable raw materials, such as metal, various types of foam, and fabric. We use the foam to press into large blocks and cut them into beautiful shapes, including this Duo sofa.
