Designblok has announced the winners of its twenty-fifth edition. Awards in eight categories were presented to creators who impressed an international jury of design professionals. The overall winner and recipient of the Grand Prix (Award for Outstanding Achievement) was the young company Cake Houses, which debuted with a project for a house that is fully customizable by the owner. The AGC Glass Europe Sustainable Design Award, judged by a separate panel of experts, went to Ineke Hans for her REX project—the first deposit chair. Additional prizes were awarded for the best school presentation, furniture, home accessories, designer installation, and manufacturer. A new addition this year was the People's Choice Award, which engaged thousands of festival visitors through online voting. The winners were announced by the jury and organizers on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at a gala dinner in the Rudolf Gallery at Prague Castle.
