Polypropylene

Everyday objects in a new light

Recycled Polypropylene (PP) is strong, dimensionally stable, and excellent for injection molding. We use exclusively recycled PP, sourced from post-consumer waste streams such as household plastic, bottle caps, discarded toys, and textiles. All these materials are extracted from a broad stream of residual waste, then sorted by color and processed into regranulate. To increase strength and durability, we enrich this granulate with 10% glass fiber—a byproduct of the glass industry. The result is a high-quality injection molding pellet that we use for various components. Application at Circuform: Kwart & Muta.

Where do we source our materials?

Our suppliers turn the plastic waste that you and I throw in the recycling bin, such as bottle caps, into pellets. We use these pellets (granulate) to injection mold our chairs and components.
